J.D. Green,  Extension Weed Scientist, University of Kentucky

University of Kentucky Extension Weed Scientists are hosting a Marestail Control Field Tour on July 28, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Research Farm in Woodford County. The plots and field is located at the corner of US 60 and US 62 [enter farm gate off US 60]. Participants will be able to come and go as they wish from 9:00 am to noon (EST).

This will be an opportunity to view various herbicide control options targeting glyphosate-resistant marestail in Roundup Ready soybean, Liberty Link soybean, and the "NEW' Enlist soybean technology. Also included are field plots demonstrating dicamba and 2,4-D preplant applications to soybean and weed control programs in RR-corn.

Crop producers, pesticide applicators, crop consultants, and agribusiness personal are invited to participate. Since this is an informal activity it will not be eligible for CCA or Pesticide Re-certification credits.
